Accountabilities The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Consultant position involves a full range of duties relative to the implementation of project work elements and management of project deliverables. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective implementation and configuration of HCM systems and applicable processes. This position requires a strong learning aptitude, compassion for clients, and a drive to succeed. Experience Required
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing all aspects of HCM solutions
  • Minimum of three years full life cycle Workday HCM project experience in a consulting role; either in Systems Implementation or Production Support, handling integrations; other functional areas such as Data Conversion, Talent and Performance, Benefits, Compensation or Payroll, Recruiting and Learning
  • Proven multi-project HCM blueprint/design experience.
  • A robust understanding of Workday methodology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet
  • Experience leading client calls, directing difficult conversations, and documenting deliverables
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with clients to implement Workday Human Capital Management technology solutions into their business environments of increasing complexity levels with experience
  • Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices
  • Demonstrate design options using prototyping
  • Deliver high-quality Workday solutions across multiple industries to meet clients’ business needs of increasing complexity levels with experience
  • Define, build, and implement HR processes and structure, in alignment with client’s business objectives and needs
  • Understand and apply Workday and Macrospect methodologies
  • Enhance clients’ experience and value of the Workday software of increasing complexity levels with experience
  • Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization
    Education and Certifications
  • Minimum BA/BS
  • Workday HCM Core Certification, Talent, Recruiting, and Payroll Certifications
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Travel to client site
  This is a hybrid position, and as such some work may be performed remotely. Some work will require travel to client sites. This is not a contract position. Workday Financials Consultant will be responsible implementation and ongoing solution support of Workday Financial Management software. Assist in leading the projects as well as being an individual contributor. Ensuring the quality of team delivery meets customers’ expectations.   Deliver financial management solutions that help organizations using cloud-based capabilities that put them on the fast track to a better way to work.   Responsibilities:   +         Designing, developing, and deploying complex integrations in a support of financials enterprise initiatives. +           Configure and test Workday to satisfy client requirements. +         Modifying, maintain and modernizing existing integrations +         Document data flows, solutions, and test results +           Communicate clearly with project manager / client regarding status of your work, gaps, time to implement or issues and potential resolutions. +           Create detailed process flows and project documentation.   Qualifications:   +         Workday Financials Certification a must +         1-2 years of consulting experience preferable with a consulting firm +         Experience with at least 1 full life cycle Workday financials +         Experience designing, architecting and solutioning Workday modules +         Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral +         Ability to travel to client site and office when needed +         Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting coupled with solid accounting skills and experience +         Advanced Excel skill required   Hybrid position, may work remotely.  Some travel to clients will be required. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our clients and partner’s sales leaders, understanding their needs, and proposing solutions that exceed their expectations. You will be a strategic advisor and a trusted partner, helping clients and partners achieve their business goals. Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and generate opportunities:
    • Manage Business Development Executives (BDEs) in identifying and qualifying opportunities
    • Develop Relationships with Partner’s Sales Leadership
    • Promote Macrospect to Partner’s Sales Leadership
    • Building and maintaining strong realtionships with SAP  and clients including follow up post sale to ensure client satisfaction
    • Work with Macrospect Marketing to develop and execute campaigns to promote Macrospect Brand
    • Ensure BDEs follow Macrospect Sales Processes
  • Move opportunities to the Commitment status in the funnel:
    • Engage in conversations with prospects to advance qualified opportunities
    • Follow Macrospect Sales Process
  • Manage Qualified Opportunity Process to Commitment status in the sales funnel
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
 
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Guide and coach BDEs, sharing knowledge and best practices.
    • Provide performance feedback and support career development within the team.
    • Contribute to building a cohesive and collaborative sales team culture
    • Create accurate Sales Forecasts
  • Utilize CRM:
    • Effectively track opportunity progress in the sales pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Stay up-to-date:
    • Maintain knowledge of customer and partner trends, competitors, and solution offerings.
    • Understand market trends and competitive landscape is crucial for identifying potential clients and tailoring pitches accordingly
  • Contribute to sales strategies:
    • Offer insights and suggestions for improving partner relationship, sales processes and lead generation techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a Finance/EPM environment.
  • At least 3+ years of hands-on development experience within the SAP ecosystem and sales leadership experience.
  • A proven track record of business development and services sales experience with a deep understanding of the SAP products or services being sold. Experience selling financial services preferred.
  • Understanding of corporate finance and accounting processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with partners as well as clients.
  • Resilient and persistent, able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to achieve targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software, LinkedIn, Microsoft Suite and other sales tools.
  • Passion for sales and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to on-site client meetings with short notice.

  • Workday PM Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Lead level or similar level
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of US and/or Global Financials experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
Bonus points if:
  • Workday and Financials Delivery experience
  • Smartsheet proficiency or similar tool proficiency
  • Experience leading global and/or LE Workday engagements
  • Other leading Cloud based SaaS financial application implementation experience: (Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc...)
