Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Reports To: Account Executive

Summary:

We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing sales team. As a BDE, you’ll play a crucial role in managing partner relationships, generating qualified leads and setting the stage for successful sales closures. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, partner management, identifying and qualifying opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify opportunities:
  • Develop Relationships with assigned software sales partners
  • Promote Macrospect to assigned partner client-facing sales ecosystem
  • Identify opportunities through partner channels and build rapport with client prospects so that they can be qualified thoroughly
    • Work with partner sales reps to research and identify potential customers
    • Craft compelling and personalized outreach messages to capture channel sales partners’ attention.
    • Work with Macrospect Marketing to develop and execute campaigns to promote Macrospect Brand
  • Qualify opportunities:
    • Engage in conversations with prospects to assess their needs, fit, and interest level.
  • Follow Macrospect Sales Process
    • Qualify opportunities based on Macrosspect’s opportunity assessment process and pass them on to Account Executives.
  • Manage Opportunity Process through Qualification Process
  • Achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Schedule meetings:
    • Set up appointments and demos with customers to qualify opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM:
    • Effectively manage leads, opportunities and track progress in the sales pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Stay up-to-date:
    • Maintain knowledge of industry and partner trends, competitors, and solution offerings.
  • Contribute to sales strategies:
    • Offer insights and suggestions for improving partner relationships, sales processes and lead generation techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) preferred, but not required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Resilient and persistent, able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to achieve targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software, LinkedIn, Microsoft Suite and other sales tools.
  • Passion for sales and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to travel to on-site meeting with customers with short notice.

 

 

Hybrid position, may work remotely.  Some travel to clients will be required.
